He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Lancashire and Undergraduate Education Lead at Royal Preston Hospital. FRCS and FEBNS, he trained in London and completed fellowships in the USA, Australia and Liverpool. He is a former Regional Neurosurgery Teaching Director and current JCST SAC member.
